Equitis Mortgage Group is based out of Vancouver British Columbia, and we are proud to serve clients across all of Canada. Our objective is to help people all over the country to navigate the ever-evolving real estate & mortgage market in the easiest and quickest way possible. Okhtay feels very fortunate to have been able to call the beautiful city of Vancouver his home for over 25 years. Okhtay has always had an interest in the real estate market and its constant evolution factors that always drew him to the profession. He graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce in Real Estate & Finance from the Sauder School of Business of the University of British Columbia and shortly after became a mortgage professional.
Early in his career, Okhtay was mentored by one of the top producing mortgage brokers across Canada, where he learned that you had to be committed to every single mortgage transaction in order to be successful in this industry. Since then, it has been his passion to help clients from all walks of life find the right mortgage solutions. Hard work and strong ethics have allowed him to grow the business exponentially year after year. We are proud to acknowledge that with his consistency and improvement year on year, Okhtay has won the DLC Diamond Award for 2017, 2018, and 2019 (in addition to other awards), placing him amongst the top 5% of all mortgage brokers across Canada. Nothing brings Okhtay more satisfaction than helping a client find the right solution for their circumstances.

Hassan was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is in love with everything about the province and country: the people, the mixture of cultures, the food, the sights, and the list goes on and on. Hassan graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and a Certificate in Legal Studies. He also obtained his Mortgage Brokerage License from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
After graduating, he worked in the business and finance sector, mainly in management. The experience he gained with managing and working with others, communicating with other businesses, expanding the business, and finding solutions to companies’ everyday problems was invaluable. After doing a lot of research over the years, he was drawn to the real estate & mortgage world. He realized that he could be in an industry where he could combine his passions of growing businesses and helping people. Hassan has found pleasure from being able to work with so many people of different backgrounds and helping them achieve their financial goals. With his work, he places the highest value on giving the best service to our clients and partners, building meaningful and long term relationships, and breaking down barriers in all aspects of the business.
